Technology Delays


Hi all,

Thank you for bearing with us during this transition into our new building. Unfortunately it hasn’t gone as smoothly as we had first anticipated. Upon moving in we decided to take it upon ourselves to remodel the whole place which has taken up a considerably amount of time and to top it off I had dropped my laptop and cracked the screen so wasn’t even able to use that to run my business. Luckily my phone was still working and I would like to give a shout out to a local business called Repair My Mobile Phone Perth. Their laptop repairs were fantastic, fast and got me back up and running that very same day.

Unfortunately I still do not have a decent internet connection and when trying to promote internet TV it can become a bit of a sticking point. I do have to apologise to the customers who have made the time and gone to the trouble of coming into our store only to be disappointed with the lack of displays or information available to them. Our store will improve and it will be incredible once it is completed.

We have the new shelving going in this week which means we will be able to hold onto 3 times the amount of stock (including parts) that we used to. This means that there will be the potential for more sales for us as well as more spare parts that are accessible to the customer if needed. We are hoping that this reduces the time taken from the customer deciding they would like internet tv to being installed. The same theory applies to spare parts.

We also have some new displays that are being designed and made at the moment. They will be interactive for the customers to use and show live streaming of internet tv as well as models of how the wiring works. This will hopefully demonstrate how simply internet tv is to install. It will, of course, distract the kids while you browse (and perhaps the staff as well). This is a risk we are willing to take however 😛

Well that about wraps up my time. Apologise to anyone attempting to visit our store. The circumstances aren’t the best at the minute but please rest assure that we are doing everything possible to make sure our business gets up and running with as little down time as possible.
